Ariana Grande has been fighting off diva rumors left and right during the last six months, perhaps undergoing the short of hazing that often follows female pop stars during their first few stages of success. To chill Ariana out during this stressful time, she’s been arm-and-arm with mega-rapper Big Sean, her current boyfriend. But Big Sean might become something even bigger to the tiny pop princess. Hollywood Life is reporting that a source says that Big Sean is being held back from making a move like that — for now.
The two do share a small age difference — Big Sean is 26, Ariana 21 — but that hasn’t stopped hoards of their fans from voicing support over the pairing. But Hollywood Life’s source says that the two might be held-up on their way to altar. After Big Sean being stung by ex-girlfriend Naya Rivera, the rapper is loath to commit.
“Big Sean wanted to be a husband with Naya, but once that went bust he is a little more gun shy when it comes to any future proposals. He wants it to be 100%. They [Big Sean and Ariana] are in a honeymoon phase right now, but don’t expect any real honeymoons as they are both not ready to take it to that level.”
This doesn’t mean that the couple will be letting up anytime soon. Grande has been on a massive tour promoting her string of hit singles and subsequent album all over the world — with her current tour schedule keeping her on the road going coast-to-coast all the way up until next April. But Hollywood Life’s inside source told the paper that the distance definitely hasn’t pulled Ariana’s heart any further away from Big Sean’s.
“They talk every night before she goes to bed, she doesn’t even want to go out after dinner with everyone because she just wants to get back to her room and talk to him… she’s got it bad.”
Until the couple comes forward publicly to say what direction the two are headed in, fans can only speculate in what way the Big Sean-Ariana Grande romance is going to develop. Another source told Hollywood Life that people should keep their eye out for new jewelry Grande might be wearing that the source claimed Big Sean has purchased for her.
“Sean gave Ariana his chain which is a big deal! It’s a mini version of the gold lion he always wears. He had it custom-made for her, it has a diamond crown and everything just like his. She hasn’t taken it off since he gave it to her, she wears it with everything, she even sleeps in it. She’s very proud of it and is very attached to it because when Sean gave it to her he told her it represents him, so she’s taking it very seriously, she can’t stop bragging that her boyfriend gave it to her.”
